We have had a great summer. Not enough time to do everything, so blogging became the bottom of the "to-do" list. So here is our "What We've Done" list:
*Scout Camp
*Tennis Camp
*Play dates
*Shakespeare in the Park
*Cedar Point
*Fun with Ohio Family
*Replace van transmission
*Tried 4 more beaches...we still love Narragansett Beach the best
*Had the washing machine repaired 4 times...new one on the horizon
*Spent time with Judy Mease showing off our new home for her first ever visit out here
*Watch "Jaws" on the big screen at the beach
*Fought the forest as we cleared overgrowth from our 1/2 mile drive and entrance
*Caught the biggest fish in our pond with a frog lure, then watched as it snapped the line
*Rode bikes along the bike path
*Catch the Wave of Missionary work Youth Conference
*Slip & Slide down the hill
*The "little" boys learned how to boogie board
*Stayed up late for movie nights
*Favorite summer movie: Despicable Me 2 (little boys) Lone Ranger (the rest of us)
*Drove through 7 states on our road trip
*Love updated experience at the LDS Temple!
*Lots of Scouting...thanks to the challenge from Poppa Kenny so that the older boys can go fishing in AK.
*Summer lawn mowing jobs
*Artwork
*Homework...yes the schools all assigned over-the-summer work for the boys
*Library...LOTS of books read this summer
*Saw a chinchilla, cockroach, rabbit, thorny devil, angler turtle all in one day...not at the zoo
*Finished first year of "back to college"...now the real work begins with an online degree
*Survived a severely leader and teacher depleted Primary.
*Took the Primary to see the Boston LDS Temple
*Made the High School JV boys soccer team.
